The Phantom of the Opera == Hot Damn

Oh hey, I completely forgot to mention The Phantom of the Opera and how it made for an excellent weekend event. And thusly, I've mentioned it. Hot damn. It was terrific - given that it wasn't the same spectacle of grandeur that it was about 5 years ago when it went for a record-breaking run at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco, seeing the touring show during its San Francisco stop certainly brought back fond memories of spending quality time hanging around the backstage alley and chatting up the actors. Lisa Vroman, the legendary "Christine" of San Francisco's first production of Phantom, was as usual, also excellent, and it was really nice to see a familiar actor back on a local stage - though unfortunately there was no backstage door easily accessed by patrons at the Orpheum Theater, which meant not being able to say "hi." But really, it still made my weekend. *bouncity-bounce*

Further bulletins as events warrant.
