See? It's infectious!

And thusly I shall loudly decry "See? It's infectious!" This phrase, of course, is referring to the creation and placement of said weblog upon the glorious disks of lutefisk.mit.edu, and can be attributed to a good friend of mine who has also recently succumbed to the new blogging disease. Though admittedly, this particular blog is but a mere inflammation in comparison with the virulent blog that is his own, it is butt another warning sign of things yet to pass.

In other news, I forsee a bit of an impending disaster as I struggle once more to draw up an appropriate birthday card for my younger brother on such short notice. "How short?" one might ask. "Tomorrow short" I say. Well, technically, it's his birthday as of 9 minutes ago, but I digress. Two plus hours at the PC, and still no artistic inspiration moving my pencil. Needless to say, those two hours were riddled with many a fancy distraction. Meeses for one thing. And a particularly rude instant message containing a buddy icon of questionable taste. More precisely, an image of a happy penguin committing the most atrocious of acts. Animated no less! After personally dealing with the offending owner of said icon (who plead innocence, of course), I now find myself once again drawing a blank - in the most literal sense. Perhaps it's time for me to sleep on this card and return after a most refreshing kitten nap. Yes... that does sound rather nice.
