Damn the Exchange Rate!

Alas, alack, for once again, the boots of my dreams are unattainable:

I've been waiting for *ever* to see the foreign exchange rate drop the price of the boots to $160 US (as I saw it one time, but foolishly did not snag the deal). But sure enough, it seems, as the British economy flourishes, the boots slip ever farther out of my reach. Even the 20% off sale corner mocks me, as they've got the model I want, but in a British size F4 (American size 5), and not in the British size F6 that I need (American size 8). I'd be half inclined to order the boots in a British F5, were it not for the fact that the page insists that the boots are very tight and to order one size up, which would normally land me at an American size 7 1/2, but seeing as the British cleverly do not stock half-sizes, I'll have to go with the nearest suitable size up.
*cry* and these were the birthday present I was going to buy myself (because, well... fetish boots aren't exactly the type of thing you can ask your pals to buy you).
Damn you, flourishing British economy! Where are the mad cows when you need to put people off of all-leather knee high fetish boots?
